Tips for a Perfect Day
Have a back-up plan. We all know that in Tassie we can have 4 seasons in one day so always have a plan on what to do just in case the weather is not on your side.
Visit your venue at the same time as you will have your ceremony, see what it looks like and make sure that there won't be any issues with the sun or shade on the day.
Social media, guests love to take their own photos and often share them without thinking about you sharing first. If you would like to not have photos taken by guests or not shared we can include this in your service.
If you have a loved one who has passed you can find memorable ways of having a part of them there with you, a picture on your bouquet, a photo of your shoes to have them 'walk' you down the aisle, a hankie in your pocket or photos in a frame.
Including others is a wonderful way to have your family and friends involved in your day. It can be having them in your bridal party, reading a special poem, playing or singing a song, flower girl or ring bearer.
Schedule a few minutes alone, either at the end of the ceremony before you head off for photos or after photos, take a few min to be together, breathe, share you love for each other before having everyone else around you.
If you are having a photographer have a chat to them about exactly what you want, I also suggest when having your first kiss that you ask them to take it from behind that way they get all the wonderful faces of your guests celebrating with you.
Create a hashtag for all of your friends, that way any time that they upload photos, take some pics or share moments from the day then they can use that hashtag and you will be able to find these memories any time you wish.
